As a provider serving Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana (BCBSMT) members, we appreciate your efforts to implement protocols to address the urgent COVID-19 situation. BCBSMT recognizes the importance of taking steps to identify and mitigate the spread of this virus.
CMS has recently established reimbursement for COVID-19 laboratory testing, and BCBSMT will be using the same codes and allowances:

These codes and allowances will apply to all BCBSMT commercial and retail plans. Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement will follow Medicare and Medicaid protocols.
