We also discuss the work of Tulsa organization, Growing Together. We interviewed Dr.Derek Robinson, an emergency medicine doctor and vice president of enterprise quality and accreditation for BCBSMT.
“Building Communities for Better Health” explores data by multiple studies that reflect the adverse effects of poverty on health. According to Dr.Robinson, while the physical effects of poverty may be limited to certain ethnic, income or geographic groups, their impact can be felt throughout the U.S. economy.
