Starting in 2022, doctors of medicine and osteopathic medicine who participate in Blue Cross and Blue Shield of (Montana) (BCBSMT) networks must provide us their medical school and residency information. The Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS) Association requires this information.
Why it’s important: You must provide this information to be listed in the BCBS national provider directory. Members of BCBS plans nationwide use this directory to find doctors who are accepting new patients.
