BlueEdge Wellness Rewards HCASM uses incentives as a way to increase funds available to employees.

BlueEdge Limited Purpose HCASM is the only HCA that can be offered to employees enrolled in a plan compatible with BlueEdge HSASM (health savings account). This account can be used to retain HCA funding for dental and vision expenses.

BlueEdge HCA Plan Features

  • Annual funding can be provided in full, or on a semiannual, quarterly or monthly basis.
  • Proration provides the opportunity to adjust funds for new hires and make changes in coverage status and terminations on a semiannual, quarterly or monthly basis.
  • Incentives allow you to fund the HCA after an employee performs a wellness activity, such as a Health Assessment or annual physical.
  • Account balance maximums allow you to choose a specific or unlimited dollar amount.
  • Rollovers allow account balances to be used the following year. You can cap the amount that accumulates in the account.
