Effective July 1, 2023, the Healthy Montana Kids (HMK) program is discontinuing the requirement that providers obtain prior authorization for occupation therapy (OT), physical therapy (PT) and speech therapy (PT) services from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana (BCBSMT).
BCBSMT will continue to monitor billing of these services to ensure providers are providing medically necessary therapy services to HMK members.
