Prescription Drugs Covered by Your Plan
Drugs on your new prescription drug list, also known as a formulary, are chosen based on their safety, cost and how well they work. While doctors should prescribe drugs on the continually updated list, treatment decisions are between you and your doctor.

You can find covered prescription drugs without logging into your member account by searching as a guest on . You’ll need to choose your drug list before you search. If you’re not sure the name of the drug list, you can call the number on your member ID card.
Filling Your Prescriptions
There are many ways to get the medications you need with different types of pharmacies in your network. They include national retail chains, local neighborhood drugstores, independent and other specialized pharmacies. You can even have some medications shipped to your home for free.
If you want to check that your pharmacy is in network, or are looking for a new one, you can find a pharmacy when you log in to your .
To find a network pharmacy without logging into your member account, you can search as a guest on . The Traditional Select Network defaults. You may need to change your pharmacy network before you search. If you’re not sure the name of your pharmacy network, you can call the number on your member ID card.
Next Steps
- Talk to your health care provider about the choices you have with your prescription drugs. There may be an alternative that is covered, or one at a lower cost.
- If your drug is not covered on your new prescription drug list, your provider may submit a drug list coverage exception, unless you have a benefit exclusion. Once your coverage starts, your provider, yourself or a caregiver, can or call the number on your member ID card to start the process. You and your provider will be told if the request is approved or denied.
- Be sure to check if your drug has any extra steps to take before it may be covered, such as prior authorization. Your provider may need to submit requests to us before coverage is approved.
