Blue Access for MembersSM

After enrollment, members can register for and log in to Blue Access for Members. Optimized for mobile, BAM is every member’s home base. Via their account they can:

  • View benefits
  • Order a replacement member ID card, or download a temporary one
  • Find in-network providers via Provider Finder®
  • Schedule a virtual visit
  • See a summary of care received
  • Review Explanations of Benefits
  • Check claims status
  • Communicate with customer service
  • Select language and communication preferences
  • Estimate costs for care
  • Access spending summaries and view deductible and out-of-pocket maximum spent
  • See how spending breaks down between medical and pharmacy (if applicable)

BCBSMT App: Blue Access Mobile®

Our BCBSMT mobile app gives members easy access to the same information and tools as the online portal detailed above. In addition, the BCBSMT mobile app – available for iPhone and Android users – allows members to:

  • Access a digital member ID card
  • Log in securely with Face ID (iOS only) and Fingerprint ID
  • Get content through in-app messages and mobile app push notifications
  • Accept in-app push notifications and in-app inbox messages, which drives engagement

Provider Finder®

Members can quickly find and compare in-network doctors, medical groups, hospitals and urgent care. With Provider Finder, members can:

  • Search for providers by ZIP code, gender, specialty, languages spoken and more
  • Compare quality ratings for providers and facilities
  • Read or write reviews for providers and facilities
  • See and compare out-of-pocket cost estimates for more than 1,700 medical procedures and services based on your plan’s copay, coinsurance, deductible and other benefits4

SMS Text Messages

Members can register with their mobile number to get important account and health care updates such as:

  • Their BCBSMT member ID card number
  • Copayment and deductible amounts
  • Health tips on diabetes
  • Exercise and fitness information

Opting in for receiving text messages is easy.

Web and Mobile Wellness Tools

Technology-driven care management programs help members manage the high costs associated with specific conditions. We offer numerous products and programs to help improve the medical and behavioral health of our members. With these tools, members can:
